fascinating plants are complimented by great water sculptures and a must see is the infamous Poison Garden.
The garden is home to one of the world's largest tree houses where The Treehouse restaurant is open
for evening dining.

Entry to the gardens is £10
for adults and only 1p for children. Group prices and Concession prices are available together with combined passes for the
gardens and Alnwick Castle.
Bamburgh Castle
Cragside House & Estate

Cragside sits on a rocky crag high above the Debdon Burn. Home of Lord Armstrong,
Victorian inventor and crammed with ingenious gadgets, the house was the first in the world to be powered by electricity.
The estate features one of the largest rock gardens in Europe, a woodland garden with rhododendrons and azaleas and much more.
Lakeside walks, an adventure play area and a labyrinth are also not to be missed. Entry to the House, Gardens & Estate
are £13.50 for adults and £6.60 for children. Further prices are available upon request. The Estate is open most
days and visitors should note that it is often crowded on Bank Holiday weekends.

Woodhorn Museum is set in a unique historic colliery setting in South East Northumberland. Discover
fascinating facts and experience the lives and loves, struggles and disasters of pitmen and their families.
The museum has a state of the art modern exhibition centre together with the old colliery buildings.
Entry to the museum is free although there is a £2.50 charge for parking.
